My nephew Jack's 2nd birthday party was the other night and I have to tell you I was waiting for 2 months to give Jack his birthday present and it was totally worth the wait. I love the expressions of a two year old, they are so innocent and fun. When Jack opened his gift from us, he ripped it upwards and immediately started yelling and jumping up and down cause he was so full of excitement. It's an excavator, he said and a dump truck. (Jack knows all about these things as he reads the auto trader with Grampie all the time) Then when he opened my parents gift to him, he did the same thing as he got a John Deere tractor from them. Kids are so happy at that stage of life and Jack is no exception. Mom made him a John Deere cake for his birthday complete with joe louie tires, and when he blew the candles out, he said "it's off" So cute!!!! Here are a few pics that I snapped that day.

Love those little bumps
I had the pleasure to photograph a coworker of mine yesterday. Her belly is so cute even though she is due in less than a month, I usually like to photograph bellies at 7 months but we just couldn't get together until now. I really like what I captured yesterday and I hope to have many more bellies come through the studio. I see such joy in the parents eyes when they think about their babies and how soon they will be in this world. I really hope I have a chance to photograph this little girl when she enters this world. Thanks Jessica and Mike for stopping by.

Little Tori Sophia Dickinson
I was so excited to see this little bundle of joy. Mom Amanda was very upset that Tori got a bug bite just before her pics were done, but that is the joy of photoshop, took literally a second to remove. What a great sleeper and I have to admit, she was the best baby yet in the studio, slept through the whole session and was so moldable. I just started proofing this one and have to say I love the new Cocoon's that I made. I made this little cocoon on Saturday just for this session, so cute!!!! Well Amanda I was a bit slow on the upload of these so I hope you can understand my lateness on them. I would love to hear your comments. Uggh!!! I hate the coloring on a non calibrated monitor, on my monitor they look great, on this monitor they look blah!!! Oh well
Enjoy

Wow a crazy last few days
Today is my birthday and I have to say that I am lucky to have a dad that deals in cars every once in a while as he currently has a 2005 Corvette in his possession that I got to drive to work today as it is my birthday, boy do I feel lucky!!!! Can't wait for the next one dad, maybe a newer one, hint, hint.
I also had the opportunity to volunteer my time to take pics at the 2nd Annual Barrett Bobcats Variety show on Friday night, even though I haven't had time to go through them yet, I'm sure I got a few good ones out of 179 pics. The Barrett Bobcats are raising money for the Relay for life that is happening this weekend in Woodstock.
Yesterday I had the privilege to photograph a new baby to this grand Earth, Abigail Miller, she is only a little over 6 lbs right now and definately full of energy at 4 weeks old. It took almost 2 hours before she was tired enough to sleep through the picture taking. I just love a baby when they are sleeping, there is something so serene about a sleeping baby, just love it when they look so peaceful. Here are a few pics from my shoot yesterday. I have another shoot tonight so check back soon to see a few of those ones. I totally forgot to mention about my new coocoons that I made on Saturday night, what do you think? I need to make them a bit longer though as they were a tad too short. I probably could put them back on the loom and make them a bit longer so I might have to do that.
